Free artwork backgrounds to use as desktop wallpaper for your computer. All the artwork images on these pages are thumbnail links to the very high resolution artwork backgrounds. To save an image to use as desktop wallpaper, click on the artwork background image you want to save, the high resolution image will open, then "right click" on the high resolution image and save the image to your computer, then click the back button on your browser to return to the previous page. To correctly install the artwork background to use as desktop wallpaper so it looks the way it was intended to look follow these simple instructions: 1. After you have downloaded images, "right click and copy" the image from the folder you downloaded it to. 2. Click the "start" button in lower left corner on you computer screen, then click on "my computer", double click the "C:" drive, then double click the "Windows" folder, then double click the "Web" folder, then double click the "Wallpaper" folder and paste your image(s) in there - this is where Windows stores it's wallpaper. Close out any open folders. 3. Click the "start" button in lower left corner on you computer screen again, this time choose "Control Panel", then double click the "Display" icon, your display properties box is now open, choose the "Desktop" tab on the top of this box, the name and preview of the artwork background you have just previously pasted into the "Wallpaper" folder from step 2 will now be included in the list here, highlight the image you want to set as your background, over on the right it will say "Position", this is a drop down menu box, click the arrow and choose "stretch" (this is very important, it sets your wallpaper to display over the entire screen), then click "Apply", then click "OK". Your new artwork background for your desktop wallpaper is now installed and will look the way it was meant to be enjoyed. Your friends will be jealous. |
